Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of shipping employees, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to company policies and procedures.
* Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring that all shipping processes are executed accurately and timely.
* Act as the right-hand person to the Shipping Manager, providing support and assistance as needed.
* Forklift experience to handle and move shipping materials and products.
* Possess basic computer skills, including proficiency in printing, internet usage, and common software applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Familiarity with MRP (Materials Requirements Planning)
* Utilize previous experience in a warehouse setting to optimize efficiency and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
* Utilize shipping and LTL (Less than Truckload) experience to coordinate and manage the shipment of goods to customers accurately and on time.
