A Order Picker verifies that the customer’s order has been selected correctly (item number, quantity,
etc.), and packages order in the most economical and damage resistant manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may
be assigned.
Verifies that the correct items and quantities have been selected. Notifies order
selector of any discrepancies for correction.
Packages merchandise in a shipping container using the following guidelines:
Package is not a safety hazard.
Make sure items a presentable for customer.
Packaged in a way that is most economical for the customer.
Merchandise will not be damaged in transit.
Address label and packing slip are securely attached.
Indicates the number of cartons per pick pack and places their warehouse
number on pick pack.
Keeps work area clean, neat and orderly.
Reports any unsafe condition or activity to management immediately.
Reports any accident or injury to management immediately
