On-Site & Virtual On-Site Recruiting

  • On-Site – This is the optimum solution for large users of contingent staffing. We can provide an on-site Managing Recruiter to meet your staffing demand. Every facet of the program is customized to ensure we are aligned with your company’s unique perceptions of quality and business goals.  Because our team is located on-site, at your facility, we become immersed in your company culture and further adapt our processes to locate quality talent that blends seamlessly into your workplace. Our On-Site Representative will council temp employees, handle timecards, work comp paperwork, and add or decrease staff at a moment’s notice, etc.  Our On-Site program allows your Management Team to manage, and truly enables your company to achieve higher quality, improved service and reduce costs.

  • Virtual On-Site – Not able to house our recruiter on-site? This solution still provides for a service team dedicated to your account.  When it is not feasible to house our on-site at your business or office location, we can still provide the benefits of the On-Site Staffing Solution.  This hiring option includes full-time recruitment, workforce management, program performance monitoring, and a frequent on-premise presence, but the service team dedicated to your account will be housed in an off-site location near your workplace. 

Probationary Hiring

Have you ever hired a candidate directly and later regretted your decision? How long did it take you to terminate this employee and hire someone else? We have the SOLUTION. Before you make the candidate a final offer with your company, put the candidate on Vest Professional Placement’s payroll for a probationary period of time of your choice to observe before hiring.  This candidate will be a Vest employee until you make a final decision.

Benefits of Probationary Hiring:

  • Observe skills, work ethic, and safety habits. 
  • If an employee does not meet your expectations, we will notify them that their job has ended with your company. 
  • This will keep your SUTA low in the event of layoff
  • During this period, Vest will treat them like a Vest employee.  Pay the employee weekly, pay all payroll taxes, Workers Compensation, Unemployment and handle any claims.
  • Decrease high turnover percentage.
  • There are no contractual working hours to meet with this option.  You can convert the candidate to your payroll at any time.  

You have the option to continue the worker on our payroll for more cost savings, hire them – your choice with no additional fee!

Is Probationary Hiring Right for Me?

When should I consider using Probationary Hiring?

  • You have identified an excellent employee for your team, but you can’t get approval for another headcount. You have the budget to hire them, but you can’t get them on payroll.
  • You would like an employee you interviewed to start immediately, but your company process could take two weeks.  You could start them immediately through our service.  When your company process is complete, move them to your payroll.
  • You have someone to hire as a contractor, consultant or temporary, however, putting them on your existing payroll system is too complicated.
  • You have been disappointed with new hires shortly after their start date.  This service gives you the opportunity to see their work habits before making them a full-time employee.

How does Probationary Hiring work?

Before you make an offer to your next employee, give us a call and we will add them on our payroll, send them to work at your company so you can observe their work habits.  If they are not a fit, we will release them.  If they prove to be a good employee, you can take them off our payroll and hire them at any time.   

We handle all taxes, workers’ compensation, unemployment, weekly pay, etc., as long as they are on our payroll.  No more new hire paperwork until you are confident of their abilities.  

What are the Benefits of utilizing Probationary Hiring?

Our Probationary Hiring service allows you to observe your new recruit before hiring.  Have you ever wasted time completing new hire paperwork for a full-time employee only to part ways within the first month or even days?  That is why we created our Probationary Hiring service!  We offer you the opportunity to run your recruit through our payroll thereby granting you the ability to observe them in action!

If my company needs immediate staffing help, how fast can Vest Professional respond to our request?

Our database contunes to add job seekers with diverse skill-sets.  Often, in these instances, based on skills needed, we are able to qualify staff by the following day. 

Do you use E-Verify?

Yes.  Every Vest Professional Recruiter goes through specialized E-Verify training, and every candidate is processed through the E-Verify system. Maintaining a legal workforce minimizes risk, reduces turnover, and increases retention in our client companies.

What are your hiring requirements?

We do not place every individual who is looking for work.  Vest Professional requires that an applicant be at least 18 years of age and able to provide documentation that he or she is eligible to work in the U.S. Our objective is to recruit, screen, and select only those employees who are qualified to work in your facility, make your products, and service your customers. By customizing our interview techniques for each company, we send you only those employees who will do the job and do it well.

Where do you find the people you place?

Recruiting quality applicants is the single most important part of a recruiters job.   We create a custom recruiting plan for each client using a variety of recruiting methods, from referrals, social media and local community networking.

Do you offer Pre-Employment Drug Screens or Background Checks?

Yes, that is a service that we offer.  We customized our onboarding to match the requirements of each company.  

Do you have Bi-lingual Recruiters?

Yes, we have two recruiters who are Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) to assist with translatig for Spanish speaking employees.

Once an associate works all required hours, what is the fee to hire the individual?

There is no additional fee once the associate has worked all required hours.  

Can you hire an associate prior to them working all required hours?

Absolutely!  This happens all the time.  If you decide to hire one of our associates before they have worked all the required hours, you pay a “buyout” of the remainging hours.

What happens if I have have a temporary to hire associate but find another candidate on my own that I would like to hire instead?

We usnderstand that things like this happen.  You are never obligated to hire one of our associates.  If you have one of our associates as a “temporary to hire” and you find a better candidate, we would end our associate.  There is no penalty, no fee, etc.  

What if you have a short term worker who you would like to hire?

This happens all the time and we love it!  If you request an associate for a short amount of time and realize you would like to hire this person, just let us know that you would like to keep them longer.  We will confirm our associate is available and interested.  You have the option of working the associate until he completes required hours, or you could buy out the contract.

Is your service available after hours?

Yes we are.  You can reach us by email, phone or text message.

We require all associates to pass a test specific to our company, is this something you could administer?

Yes, this is something that can be done.  We work with several companies who have specific tests that we administer before we send them.   Our goal is to send you the best qualified canidiate for you unique needs.
